Giritli, Bora; He took his high school education at
the applied sciences section of Akdeniz Private High School. After
his high school education, he registered at Interior Architecture
Department of Faculty of Fine Arts in Marmara University which is
considered as Turkey’s one of the best. In 2001, he graduated from
the university but during his education period, in 3 years of row,
he took part in window dressing competitions organized by Akmerkez
Shopping Mall which is Istanbul’s most well known shopping center
and as a result he gained many prizes of first place, second prize
and honor rank. He also took same prizes for his special
presentations realized at II International Student Triennial and at
Art Exhibition of Bank Toprak and also awarded by Domus Art
Magazine for his article called “ Furnitures smell like Istanbul” During and also after his university education he keeps on working,
searching. Having an adventure sprite, he was the volunteer member
of Greenpeace and likes outdoor sports such windsurfing, swimming.
He is too keen on playing chess.
